Securitytec - Customer Case Study

Securitytec Ltd first joined Callcloud in 2012, they have since updated their telephony suite to take advantage of some of the latest features and applications the new Ericsson-LG handsets have to offer.

The Customer

Securitytec is based in Coulsdon Surrey, established in 2005, it now employs six members of staff. Securitytec is a CCTV system wholesaler that distributes its systems to businesses across the UK, often within a very tight turnaround.

The Challenge

With plans for growth, Securitytec wanted a phone system that could expand with their needs and give them functionality to more efficiently connect with their customers.

Securitytec Managing Director, Graham Smith, specifically wanted to find out more about the call recording features that Berry could offer. Graham was also mindful of the changes to GDPR that were coming into effect, and so above all wanted to ensure that his company remained fully complaint.

The Solution

Berry Sales Director, Simon Langford, went to see Graham and his team to talk them through their options. The Ericsson-LG 9030 handsets, accompanied with Berry’s new PHONE-LiNK software, was recommended as it allows users to perform functions from their desktop PC, or via the phone touchscreen.

Graham’s team can now call their customers by clicking phone numbers directly from their database. When new customers call, Graham’s team can more easily save their details within the database leaving no room for error. One feature that shows them who is calling in before they answer the call has been particularly helpful, it has meant that the right person answers the call in the first instance.

Securitytec also opted for Berry’s Tollring Call Recording feature due to its compliance with the GDPR Act. Berry’s Call Recording boasts the more premium AES level of encryption for storage and security purposes. Specifically, about Call Recording, Graham said:

“It’s been much easier to listen back to a call to ascertain the details of an order, rather than to disturb a customer with another call to reiterate their order. It’s really helped us to provide a more efficient service, we can turn orders around quicker for our customers.”

Now that Securitytec is utilising all of the new features on the phone system, it is now providing the extra value they were looking for. Berry’s maintenance contract has also given them extra piece of mind knowing that when small hiccups arise, someone is there at the end of the phone to rectify it immediately. When asked whether they would recommend Berry, Graham said:

“We’d always recommend Berry as everything with them gets done efficiently and we’ve found their systems to be great.”
