What’s the call quality like?

The quality of the sound on the Call Cloud system is of equal quality to the traditional PBX systems so you won’t know the difference. Advances in technology and improvements to broadband and fibre connections mean that the Call Cloud hosted phone system is very robust and reliable. The team at Call Cloud will ensure your system is set up on an assured line, which means you’ll also experience no interruption to your existing Internet services.

HD (High Definition) voice quality is also available which demonstrates the clarity of sound that can be experienced through the platform.

How long does it take to get installed?

You handsets can be delivered to your premises within days. The Call Cloud software is available online immediately. For the highest quality sound and reliability, we’d recommend an assured broadband line to run the service this takes 10 working days to be activated.

If a system is required urgently, we can set up your phone system on an existing broadband line in the meantime and then switch this to an assured line once it has been activated.

Is installation included in the price?

The Call Cloud system is relatively simple to install and if you’re technically-minded you can install it yourself. However, if you’d like some extra support we can arrange for a Call Cloud Engineer to undertake the installation for you. There is a charge for this service, which will depend on the size of the system you wish to install. We can provide a quote for this work if required, please give us a call if you’d like more information.

What’s the difference between the Call Cloud hosted phone system and a ‘normal’ phone system?

The Call Cloud system allows you to make calls via an Internet connection instead of via the standard phone line network which means your call charges are much lower. A hosted phone system requires less hardware to be installed and so set up costs are often a fraction of the price.

What are the handsets like? Are they any good?

The Call Cloud handsets are very comprehensive, they are Polycom handsets which have all the necessary internal programming specific for the Call Cloud. There is a wide range of Polycom handsets available depending on the complexity of your requirements. Sophisticated premium handsets with touch screen ability are available for users that need more functionality.

With a Call Cloud maintenance agreement the handsets are covered for any technical issues and repairs, ensuring you’re communications channels are always open and effective.

What happens if we need extra phones later?

This is really simple. Just give us a call and we’ll send you additional handsets and set up new users on your account. Your new phones can be up and running within days. The Call Cloud phone system is very scalable and unlike a traditional PBX system you’re not limited to a specific number of users due to hardware capacity.

Can I transfer calls on the Call Cloud phone system?

Yes, you can easily transfer calls from one user to another on the phone system either internally or externally. It’s easy to do this via the on-screen soft client or via your handset. The Call Cloud office phone system provides all of the standard features you’d expect with an office phone system.

Are mobile minutes included?

Mobile minutes can be included when selecting a mobile 500 or mobile 2000 plan. Our standard plans do not include mobile minutes as this isn’t always required. However, for an additional £5.50 per user per month you can enjoy 500 mobile minutes or for an additional £10 a month 2000 minutes are available. All account users must be on the same call plan.

The really great thing about our mobile plans is that mobile minutes can be ‘pooled’ amongst all users on your Call Cloud system. This means that no additional mobile charges will be made if collectively all mobile minutes aren’t exceeded.

How much do mobile calls cost if we don’t include them in our plan?

Mobile calls cost 5p a minute if you don’t purchase a mobile plan. This is a very competitive rate versus those available on traditional PBX systems. Don’t forget when choosing a mobile plan mobile minutes are shared among all users. This means that you won’t get charged per user for overspent mobile minutes as long as there are enough minutes in the pool to cover this.
