Romsey based Sunrise Tools and Equipment has been in business since 1997 and supplies tools and equipment to the building construction and maintenance industries. Managing Director Sean Kelly needed a phone system to replace his aging hosted phone system that was soon to become obsolete.
With only a couple of extensions, Sunrise didn’t need the expense of a full PBX system and its’ associated hardware and lengthy contract periods. Sean was happy with his hosted phone system, it was easy to use and offered an affordable professional solution.
As Sunrise’s previous system was soon to be unsupported, they needed a replacement in a short time frame. After an online search and conversations with a couple of suppliers, Sunrise decided the team at Call Cloud provided efficient customer service and could get the job done to their deadline. Being based in Salisbury, Call Cloud is always nearby to provide hands on support should it ever be required.
The tool supplier still needed a system that provides all the features you’d expect from a professional business such as marketing messages and call forwarding. But the phone system needed to remain affordable for this small business.
Managing Director Sean Kelly has found the features pretty easy to use, he admits they’re not using all of the features but have made the most of the twinning feature which causes his mobile phone to ring when the office phones ring. He says:
“The phone twinning features means that I never miss a call and can pick it up wherever I am whether it’s out the back or away from the shop. It just helps me to deliver better customer service.”
The transition from Sunrise’s old supplier to Call Cloud has been faultless. Sean goes on to say:
“Paul was great, he knew we were under time pressure so came out to us for the day and set up the whole thing. He spent time walking us through how the system works and all of its features.”
Looking to the future, Sean went on to say:
“The system is particularly great for businesses that need a flexible system that will allow them to upscale easily should they need to. There’s no need for businesses to purchase additional hardware, just simply add another user to their account and order another handset.”
